Long-time resident of GOTL in the first half of the 20th century, Mary Post recalled a time when there was no electrical power in the village, no running water and no natural gas.
She lived in The Augustine cottage on the west side of New Street. Her daughter, Mrs. G.B. Atkins, lived with her in 1947.
