Skin Beach was a name given to a stretch of the Lake Erie shoreline west of the Marina, in the area of east end of the State Park Beach.
How it got its name is evident, but not all who remember it recall it as a place where more skin could be displayed than at a public beach. Suffice to say, it was a secluded beach and parking location.
