Jack Meyer was the manager of the Geneva Theater during the 1947 season.
Meyer came to town with a plan to infuse some life into the one-year old theater, which registered lackluster results in its maiden voyage.
He noted that improvements had been made to the sound conditions of the theater and that there would be a better grade of pictures that would not change as frequently as they had in 1946. A new show played every day.
